Missing teeth
Treating missing teeth is a complex multidisciplinary process. It involves either closing or opening space. If the spaces are closed the moved teeth need to camouflage to mimic the missing teeth. If the space is opened prosthetic replacement is need to fill in the gap. The usual tooth to be treated with orthodontic space management is the maxillary lateral incisor. The treatment is planned with your general dental practitioner who would be providing with prosthetic/camouflage treatment.
